Role Purpose

Marketing Platform Specialist is responsible for platform (Pardot) operation and implementation based on specific project requests. Candidate should understand digital marketing (Email Marketing), information technique (Pardot based), project management, and analyzing.

You will work with contacts around the world, understanding their campaign requirements and implementing them. Implementation entails ensure the instructions are clear and then executing them using Pardot.

Position Responsibilities

• Working closely with client contacts and internal Merkle teams to manage workload and completing campaign work in a timely and error-free manner
• Campaign build, proofing, deployment, and publication on Pardot
• Audience segmentation and list processing for campaign deployment
• Perform basic platform-based coding action and tech support to clients.
• Deliverability monitoring
• Provide Campaign performance analysis Data and optimization proposals.
• Serve as an expert on email marketing best practices and educating others

Key Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or above preferably in Computer Science, E-commerce, Digital Media or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Marketing Platforms, e.g. Salesforce Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, Oracle Eloqua, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, etc.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Salesforce Pardot. Pardot Certified will be preferred
• Understanding of general CRM practice, preferably client-facing experience
• Good presentation skills, both written and oral
• Strong ability in problem-solving and facing time/client pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Preferred experiences in Email Marketing strategies, best practices, and deliverability
• Preferred SQL skills - be able to write queries to extract data needed for client requests, create queries to validate campaign audiences, and construct queries joining multiple tables
• Preferred Frontend IT skills - be able to use/understand HTML/CSS/Javascript in emails/landing pages
• Preferred Backend IT skills - be able to understand platform backstage logic
