KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.     Business Applications Digitalization

·       Prepare, design and implement software development and digital solutions to meet the business needs and support business digitalization.

·       Is accountable for the architecture planning and delivery of IT business system capabilities.

·       Responsible for the development, implementation and support of financial accounting software and enterprise applications systems (e.g. DMS, QMS and CRM)

·       Analyze current system processes and design functional requirements.

·       Contribute to designing, developing and testing new features and projects on new application and present systems.

·       Participant in developing the technology roadmap for database and systems.  

·       Adopt the appropriate multiexperience development platforms (MXDPs) that are used for developing chat, voice, augmented reality and wearable experiences — as well as mobile and web apps — in support of the digital business.

·       Review the Computerized System Validation (CSV) plan and protocols for all GxP controlled systems based on current industry standards

·       Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture if needed.

·       Closely work and engage directly with key stakeholders to gather customer requirements, translate them to clear document specifications, actively manage their expectations and monitor satisfaction levels.

2.   Project Management

·       Develop or update project plans including the determination of project activities and milestones.

·       Manage execution of projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.

·       Provide ongoing communication on projects, status reports, issues, and major deliverables to management and staff.

3.  Process & Procedure

·       Setup the service model for applications, deliver the applicable IT services to customers.

·       Ensures that incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are all done with alignment and understanding of business need.

·       Determine and analyze various processes and drive change management for process improvements.

Qualifications (Knowledge, experience, abilities & skills)    

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

·       At least 8+ years IT experience in business applications development in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology.

·       Proven experience operating in regulated environments, with GxP and 21CFR Part 11.

·       Strong programming and design skills in Python, JAVA, PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

·       Knowledge of software programming and database design.

·       Experience with utilizing GAMP 5 methodology is a plus.

·       Experience and hands-on, solid skills in dashboard and visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, QlikView, etc.

·       In-depth knowledge of assigned business processes (lab, supply chain, quality, science, administration, etc)

·       Strong understanding of R&D related computer systems and data.

·       Familiar with mainstream Database (Oracle, MS-SQL and MySQL)

·       Excellent documentation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
