• Carry out electrical and automation service and commissioning of equipment and systems following installation and general service duties as required.
• On completion of full automation system commissioning to undertake compliance testing and hand over of the systems,
• On completion of shaft generator system pre - commissioning to undertake compliance checking and pre testing,
• To attend sea Trials on completion of commissioning activities
• Provide timely detailed commissioning reports and accurate feedback on all commissioning & after sales status and related issues to the service manager and project managers.
• Assist the engineering department and customers with mechanical - electrical installation, planning & design.
• Assist with electrical design and system upgrades as required.
• Provide recommendations for the improvement of company systems, specifications, installation and operational procedures.
• At all times represent the company's interests while interacting with vessel/shipyard staff or the classification society.
• Provide emergency 'out of hours' contact and support.
• Be familiar with and comply with the company’s policies; in particular relevant policies on health, safety and environmental matters.
• Work in a manner that promotes the company’s values.

• A comprehensive electrical engineering background incorporating a basic understanding of electrical control systems.
• Understanding or electronic and PLC control systems basic understanding would be an advantage
• Understanding / ability to follow P&ID drawings, processes flow drawings and complex electrical drawings
• Having practical commissioning experience onboard and can clearly demonstrate an enthusiastic and dynamic approach.
• Excellent communications skills verbal and written, self-motivation and demonstrable high customer care standards.
• Good Team Working ability and skills
• To develop and submit high quality commissioning & after service reports.
• A proven Service / Commissioning will be the ideal candidate who is familiar with managing and working on complex marine systems. Must have very good electrical shills as well as some mechanical skills and willingness to develop mechanical competence
