About the Role

A Design Manager at HGE is to inspire and attract the target audience for respective brands. Responsibilities include the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions, posters and more. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to,

? Study design briefs and determine requirements 

? Schedule projects and define budget constraints

 ? Conceptualize visuals based on requirements 

 ? Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

 ? Develop illustrations, logos and other deigns using software or by hand 

? Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

? Work with copywriters and Director of Marketing to produce final design 

? Test graphics across various media 

? Amend designs after feedback 

? Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

? Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field

? Proven graphic designing experience, preferred in education 

? Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) 

? Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines 

? A keen eye for aesthetics and details 

? Excellent communication skills 

? Passion for and alignment with our mission

Since our founding in 2016, we have opened 20 beautiful schools across the U.S. serving students from birth through high school. We have also launched an innovative training organization to fuel our growth. We're on track to open 20 schools in the next 12 months (including our first international schools!), and plan to continue opening 20+ per year.
