Roles & Responsibilities:



Manage project teams implementing projects under technology license agreements, including delivery of front-end design packages and design liaison activities with the Licensee and design contractor
In delivering front end engineering packages-lead multi-functional teams of professions to produce design deliverables in accordance with the quality, time and cost requirements of the project
Provide rotating equipment and static equipment input to IPT license projects (note: only applicable if mechanical engineering background)
Providing critical equipment support to clients-including vendor clarification meetings, vendor visits and inspections, and provide technical services to existing licensees of IPT technology.
To work with the commercial team in the sales process providing project management input, and liaising with Licensees during proposal development
As a member of the project management team and the focal point in China, the individual will liaise with the Globel project managers, providing guidance and in-sight into Chinese standards and practices.


Knowledge & Skills Required:



Good Bachelors or Masters Engineering Degree
Strong leadership capability, and track record in building and motivating teams to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to seek out, organise and share knowledge, including knowledge of Chinese vendor/manufacturing capabilities across both static and rotating equipment (Note: only applicable if mechanical engineering background)
Strong technical background in chemical plant design
Some knowledge of chemical plant operation and maintenance is also desirable
Personal commitment to Safety, Health and Environment
The role will involve opportunities for travel and work overseas.
Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Mandarin
