Main Responsibilities:

• Arranges and/or delivers proper training and coaching for subordinates to ensure they have the necessary knowledge, skills and ability and support to do their jobs.
• Defines and/or explains clear work procedure and instructions for subordinates and follows to make correction to work content.
• Sets and explains clear competency and performance standards to subordinates and evaluates subordinates based on actual performance and also provides constructive feedback frequently (e.g. when certain task is rated as Improvement needed or Unsatisfactory.)
• Responsible for engineering department overall performance and reaching of the targets set.
• Responsible for efficiency, keeping the time schedules and quality of engineering.
• Responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and action plans.
• Responsible for resource recruitment in own area of responsibility.
• Responsible for good co-operation between the own department, and other related departments and functions.
• Responsible for occupational safety in own area of responsibility.
