Qualifications:

• Semiconductor background with a general understanding of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing flows.
• Numerical orientation with attention to detail in both accuracy and format.
• Must be experienced in hands on usage of major ERP systems for order management, purchasing and production control.
• Ability to work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
• Must have demonstrated ability to perform supply/demand balancing using both excel and ERP based tools and reports.  
• Fabless Semiconductor Planning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

This position will be located in Shanghai and will be responsible for the complete Semiconductor supply chain including order management, planning/procurement of wafer fab, assembly service, test and back-end services, and product shipment and delivery.

Specific Responsibilities:

Responsible for the scheduling of products and subcon management.

The primary activities will include:

• Booking customer PO’s and schedule the production to fulfill shipments; release fab lots and track work in progress(WIP)
• Work on the supplier forecast process, ensure critical materials such as lead frame, reel etc. are available for forecasted builds.
• Monitor subcon commitments for wafer fab, assembly and test schedules and follow up in case of schedule slip.
• Travel to visit subcons for face to face visit as necessary.
• Hold weekly (or more frequent) telecon with subcons to track schedules.
• Ensure non-automated WIP receipts and movements are completed on a timely basis.
• Ensure invoicing for non-automated product shipments are executed on a timely basis.

Candidate must have demonstrated ability to perform supply/demand balancing using Microsoft Excel based tools.

ERP experience is strongly recommended. Ability to identify and solve issues related to problems affecting scheduled deliveries.

Excellent communication skills required.

Skill Requirements:

• Semiconductor background with a working knowledge of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing.
• Build to order manufacturing environment. Ability to react to engineering change orders and requirements.

• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and one or more ERP systems.

Minimum Education Requirements: College degree above

Desired Experience:

• 3+ experience in planning or production control at a semiconductor company.
• Experience working for a fabless semiconductor company.
• Experience working with Wafer fab, packaging and test house is highly desired.
