Job Purpose:

Attending to activities pertaining to Branch operations particularly with a view to ensure the smooth running as a whole with ultimate objective to generate maximum revenue and profitability and customers' satisfaction.

    

    

- Ensure accuracy, prompt processing and compliance of regulatory procedures of alltrade finance related business.

    

Well processing of trade finance transactions to be carried out per Customer Service Pledge.

    

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to provision of Anti-Money Laundering regulations / Know Your Customer Policy.

    

- To inform the Global Markets Department should there be a need for funding to cover bills transactions.

    

Monitor and follow-up on outstanding bill items and ensure all charges duly collected.

    

- Always ensure to check the available facility limit as well as credit conditions imposed prior to drawdown / utilization of the trade lines. To obtain CAD’s approval for combined facility and inform them lines replenishment on time. - Ensure all excesses are recorded and referred to Supervisor for approval prior to release. For certain cases, approval from Head Office will be needed.

    

- Notify Branch relevant stakeholders in the event of default or any early warning signals that have been detected.

    

- Supervision of distribution of monthly & quarterly bank statements.

    

- Monthly physical balancing of outstanding documents against Trial Balance.

    

- Prepare all trade finance reports required by HO and relevant regulatory authorities.

    

- Provide appropriate advisory services on trade finance for existing and potential customers.

    

- On-site visit customers or contact customers by other means and help to explain relevant business regulation or internal operations, if CC/CB needed.

    

- Ensure compliance with foreign exchange control regulations and attend to regulator' s (like PBOC, SAFE) various online reporting promptly.

    

- Work closely / refer potential trade finance customers to Credit Department for credit evaluation.

    

- Ensure ICBA Trade Finance Module is running in proper order and highlight any problems encountered.  Suggest enhancement where necessary.

    

- Work closely with IT Officer to carry out testing of the ICBA fixes, when required.

    

- Attend to the updating of the Trade Finance related manuals.

    

- Act as "Authorizer" for S.W.I.F.T., ICBA and other regulatory reporting system functions.

    

- All other duties as assigned by Branch management from time to time. 

Qualifications & Competencies:

Level of Education: Bachelor or above

    

    

Years of Experience: At least 10 years working experience on trade aspect in banks.

    

    

Professional and round trade skills

    

    

Manage team to run smoothly and achieve kinds of target

    

    

Build up good relationship within Branch stakeholders and with external customers, regulators and FI
