Apparel Merchandiser x 3 (Multiple Categories)
Our Client is an established International mass-market retailer covering fast fashion apparel, sourcing directly via their HK, China and India sourcing offices. Due to their rapid growth, they now seek several highly experienced Apparel Merchandisers across all clothing categories to join their dynamic Hong Kong team.
This is a highly challenging role and excellent opportunity to work in a growing Retail Sourcing office. An excellent package awaits the right candidate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Senior Merchandiser to execute the merchandise strategies and manage vendor performance
Manage the vendor to ensure in delivering quality products on time in full
Follow up with suppliers for development samples
Manage Critical Path Analysis and monitor milestones
Work closely with head office to manage forecast and book production capacity with vendors
To ensure order management and on time delivery
To assist in the sourcing and development of Apparel Category
To ensure vendor management and supplier KPI's
To coordinate with technical teams
To build strong relations with head office buying teams, ensuring requirements are met
To negotiate costing with supplier base
To support the Senior Merchandiser

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previously gained at least 2 years experience as a Merchandiser within a retail sourcing environment / International Buying office is essential
Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Excellent negotiation skills
Proactive problem solver and positive in outlook
Degree in relevant field
Excellent computer skills
