SUMMARY:
Assist the function head to finish the purchasing responsibilities. Planning, directs, supervises and manages the Purchasing & Localization function for GST China business, ensure that a robust, efficient system is run, optimized and upgraded for driving business strategies and objectives achieving.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Responsible for supplier selection of raw material (hides).
Collect the internal data to support the function head to analyze suppliers' price and technical capabilities to insure the hids quality
Collect the external data to analyze the hides market current tends.
Management the orders with the suppliers in terms of price and delivery time;
Initiate and follow up on necessary improvements of the suppliers;
Development of a quality concept and systems to secure the quality standards;
Work closely with the operation department to check the utility rate of hides.
Involvements and support for all relevant logistic optimization in cooperation with the Chain Operation group;


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering, Chemistry or relevant disciplinary
Min. 8 years working experience of purchasing procedures and quality control of hides in the automotive industries.
Master solid professional leather knowledge and purchasing channels.
Strong knowledge of automotive industry quality standards
Have the import and export knowledge
Fluent written & oral English and Chinese.
Knowledge of MS office.
Strong communication and negotiations skills with the ability to work effectively and independently.
Willing to travelling.

REQUIRED SKILLS / NECESSARY SPECIFIC TRAINING
Knowledge in Supplier Chain Management, Supplier Quality Management and Leather products;
Trained in the standard of leather grading
Skills in commercial negotiation
