You will work In Innovation Center Asia, we mainly work on the forward-looking topic, such as the future mobility. The goal of UX team is to craft futuristic experience through the conceptual design and make the experience visualized and tangible for the communication or validation. The working scope is more than 2D user interface design. The UX designer should think of the end-to-end experience and interaction flow incorporating the technology, ergonomics and business needs. As a UX designer contractor, you will fully work with the team in the conceptual design phase. In addition to the creativity, you also need to take care of concept visualization by 2D and 3D software application. The work you do will contribute to the future mobility in the world. At the same time, it will be presented to the executive in Volkswagen, too. It is a fun and meaningful place for you to participate in creating the future. 

Responsibility:

Participate in the concept brainstorming phase with people from various backgrounds

Prepare the workshop material and support the facilitation

Research and contribute to the future automotive experience trend study

Scout new technology and consolidate the information with the experience trend study

Turn the concept into the visualization through 2D and 3D tools

Participate in the research study and turn the insight into the possible concept

Qualification:

Bachelor student/ graduate or above 

Major in industrial design, interactive art, interaction design, service design, or HCI is preferred

Master in various visualization applications, such as Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, 3D rendering software, and so on

Proactive, open-minded and willing to challenge status of quo

Chinese and fluent English Language skills essential; German speaking and understanding would be a plus

Passion about future mobility and automotive industry would be a plus
