Main Key Responsibilities

-Responsibility for proactive sales of the Rieter After Sales Portfolio

-Achievement of FO and Sales 3rd budgets for assigned region

-Safeguarding adequate market presence in the assigned region

-Achievement of targeted market shares in assigned region

- Establishment and active follow up of sales plans for assigned region

- Proactive promotion of Rieter After Sales Portfolio based on specific customer needs

- Regular customer visits

- Organization of symposiums, trade fair participation and customer events

- Establishment and negotiation of customer contracts, safeguarding conformity with Rieter standards

- Negotiation of special terms and conditions within given limitations

- Interaction with RAS teams based on specific customer needs

- Participation in specific projects as assigned

- Manage accuracy of all sales relevant data (e.g. installed base,...)

- Tracking and monitoring of assigned KPIs, development of specific action plans to keep or get back on track

Key Requirements

-Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or Textile Engineering or Business Administration

-5-year Proactive sales of spare parts for investment goods

-3-year Experience in short staple spinning industry

-2-5-year Establishment and negotiation of contracts

-2-year Project leadership

-5-year Microsoft Office

-Fluent English

-Should be a creative team-focused person who actively contributes ideas and experiences. 

-Needs to be flexible, able to work under pressure and have a structured and focused approach.

-Experience in interdisciplinary working in a lively, international environment

-Should be used to project-type work and like contact with various internal and external parties.

-Needs to keep a cool head in a hectic environment and like working precisely and exactly

Based in Winterthur (Switzerland), the company develops and manufactures systems, machinery and technology components used to convert natural and man-made fibres and their blends into yarns.

Rieter has supplied machines to China for more than 80 years and is among the recognized market leaders in the sector of components, machines and systems for the short staple yarns.

Today Rieter has around 1 000 employees in China. Two manufacturing plants and one Technology Spin Centre have been built in the headquarter location Changzhou, and one branch office in Shanghai which provides After Sales Service to the Rieter customers.
