JOB TITLE:
Sr. Software Engineer

SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
Lead SVT of projects, including customer specification analysis, test plan creating, test case design, test script development and test report generating etc.. Develop automaion test tools for Oclaro's production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Taking lead on SVT of projects.
Analyse customer specification or design specification, set up proper test bench and create test plan.
Work with cross functional teams as optics and electronics to interpret and generate test cases,
Work closely with software and eletrical engineers oversea to develop suitable test solutions.
Develop test script with high quality.
Implement SVT and generating test report. Help firmware engineer to track and fix defects.?
2. Taking lead on automation test tools development to improve test efficiency. Design architecture of automation tools, implement coding, and lead verification for it.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSEE or related degree (EE or CS), MS Preferred.
• Development experience in C++, Python or C# is preferred.
• Working knowledge of hardware, software engineering and testing.
• Experience in lab bench debugging tools oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and so on.
• Above 5 years experience in software testing is preferred.
• Be a good team player and can communicate effectively with peers.
• Knowledge and experience in unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, system testing, and regression testing (which is often automated).
• Hardware knowledge and practice for better assisting in firmware and hardware debugging.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Generate and maintain documentation ability.
