Role & Responsibility:

1. Responsible for system programming functions in CICS/MQ and related MF middleware installation, configuration, support and tuning
2. Implement and review CICS/MQ and other MF middleware changes
3. Perform CICS/MQ and other MF middleware fault analysis and problem resolution
4. Monitor and fine-tune resources to optimize performance
5. Automate operations of CICS/MQ/other MF middleware products
6. Evaluate and propose new and/or upgrade of software products
7. Document processes and procedures in support of the operations for the CICS/MQ systems
8. Provide 24 x 7 On-call support

 

Skills and competencies

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 3-7 years Systems Programming experience in MVS with knowledge on:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
• Good Project & Vendor management skills
• Fluent in English language and good communications skills (Oral and Written)
• Good understanding of banking or financial business
• Knowledge IT service management concepts (ITIL)
