Job Purpose:

Senior Sourcing Manager for LBM & Wood will work together with European business units and central team to developprofitable sourcing projects with Chinese or other Asian suppliers in LBM and Wood products lines. She/He needs to take every initiative to achieve the annual sourcing target and also to propose any potential sourcing opportunities to European business units. 

She/He will define and implement the products and suppliers’ development strategy. 

She/He will lead a team of 7 persons with variable backgrounds and experiences to continuously improve the team performance.  

Key Responsibilities:

1、To reach annual purchasing volume growth targets and other key performance indicators.

2、Work closely with European Business Units to effectively conduct sourcing projects.

3、Define supplier management strategy and optimize suppliers’ portfolio for LBM and wood categories.

4、Take initiatives to propose new sourcing opportunities to European business units.

5、Negotiate with suppliers for achieving the best terms for our BUs customers.

6、Cooperate with quality and compliance manager to improve quality assurance for sourced products.

7、Work closely with European central team for implementing the private label development strategy.

8、Develop team members to help them continuously improve the performance.

Qualifications:

Education: 

Bachelor and above degree

French educational background is a plus.

Experience:

Over 5 years of sourcing or distribution business experiences and at least 2 years of people management

experience within the relevant product categories in manufacturing company.

Skill& Knowledge:

Business development skills, i.e. skills to develop and propose ranges and products to European business units.

Excellent communication skills in both oral and written 

Positive attitude, passion and self-motivation

Good Chinese, English and French

Others:

Project management and strong negotiation skills;

Open-minded, positive and cross-cultural curiosity;
