NATURE OF WORK

? Set inventory replenishment requirements for FINI product warehouses and ensure proper execution of inventory replenishment plan



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Planning (Forecast)

Ensure a demand forecast for all relevant product families is generated in China by having below activities performed
Ensure approval process of demand forecast with SAFI and division.
Ensure communication regarding forecast constraints after S&OP meeting with plants as appropriate.


Inventory planning
? Coordinate all activities around inventory planning for FINI material sold out from China warehouses.

? Identify necessary changes to achieve inventory targets and agreed customer service levels
? Change master data on a warehouse level and communicate key changes to production, customer service and Sales
? Propose changes to replenishment strategies to address recurring issues (when required)
? Interact with warehouse managers (when needed) on items affecting inventory levels and replenishment strategies

? Ensure warehouses are replenished according to plan thru proper plan execution by replenishment planners as proposed by planning tools. Ensure accuracy of plan execution data (dates and quantity).
? Check current stock for resell products
? Propose the reasonable imported quantity to PM and get approval
? Apply for the approval from VP by email
? Send the imported suggestion to purchasing for PO placement.
? Create purchase requisition and purchase order to overseas and domestic inter-companies (supplier) for finished products once
? Contact overseas supplier to get shipping details
? Forward the purchase order together with Invoice to Accounting for Invoice checking in SAP
? Lead/attend meeting with supply factories
? Maintain/update info record and source list of new/ existent material in SAP
? Provide new/updated Transfer price to Accounting per month.

? Ensure warehouse restricted stock is minimized to avoid scrap for expired goods.
? Extract Restricted Stock Report for resell goods from SAP,
? Send to responsible PMs, alarming them to push sales to expedite the sales before the expire date



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

To successfully perform the requirements of this position, the incumbent must possess the equivalent of a EU Bachelor degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, food science, or related field.
? Alternatively several years work experience dealing with information systems and supply chain is required.
? Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and perform in a multi-cultural international work environment are required (mandarin and English needed)
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Expertise in ERP / DRP / MRP systems as well as data warehouse and data management is critical.
? Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and extreme accuracy
? Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.


SCOPE OF POSITION

This position reports to the Manager, Demand & Customer Service China


High level of interaction with
? Sales manager and supply planner
? Planners and logistic staff from other Danisco entities
? Customer service, warehouse and logistic staff

Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.


WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates primarily in an office environment with some limited travel requirements.

2. Service level for all material stocked in China
3. FINI Inventory level for material stocked in China
