Job Description

The China Communication Director will be based in Shanghai.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Develop fully - integrated Communications strategy relevant to China and in synch with Flex’s vision.
• Spearhead PR / Media outreach programs across China with a view to further entrench Flex as a Sketch-to-Scale technology leader and employer and partner of choice in the Country.
• Lead crisis comms efforts.
• Oversee a diversely - skilled comms team in China.
• Strategize and manage internal comms.
• Strategize social media outreach programs to further engage existing employees, potential staff and followers.
• Organize, direct and steer comms-related focus group discussions, surveys, workshops.
• Spearhead digital content – (conventional, VR, 360 video and other new digital content).
• Events management.
• Manage and publicize external partnership programs - NGO & Academia / University partnerships.
• Lead employee engagement and branding efforts in China in close collaboration with HR and TA Teams.
• Manage comms budget.
• Manage Comms KPI and oversee results tracking and reporting.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• 12-15 years’ working experience in Communications / MARCOM, PR role.
• Experience in technology industry an added advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
