Objective of Job

* Package/installation proposal/meeting minutes with related package team (VIV/BICEE team).

* IOD for responsible components (Excel file).

* BOM/codep/matricole (refined at different project phase).

* Project Timing/work plan for each component (refined at different project phase).

* Component status (CCD, ODM).

* Top/Critical issue list and 8D report.

* RAR and prepare related files per FCA requirements.

* Design review and prepare related files per FCA requirements.

* DVPR

* 1A/2A/3A/4A specification release.

* Reviewed and approved suppliers' SW development plan.

* Updated PF/CTS/SSTS.

* Provide Buck/VP/PS sample on time and sample plan (MRD).

* TKO and prepare/collect related files per FCA requirements.

* Design review reports with supplier at different project phase.

* Project KPI.

* 2D/3D/DDT/CCD.

* Risk Management Plan/Meeting Minutes/ Change evaluation (refined at different project phase).

* Vehicle IP test report review.

* Freeze VP/PS part status (CN/ODM...) Meeting Minutes with suppliers or internal team on the CN for VP/PS component.

* Confirmation emails from Suppliers regarding production tooling ready and sample ready date.

* Review/Approve DV report from supplier or supplier design change request.

* Onsite Support VP/PS manufacturing (Support record, Meeting minutes, or information).

* Open issue list (refined at different project phase).

* Risk mitigation plan (refined at different project phase).

* Review PV report from supplier or supplier design change request.

* Notes/Meeting minutes on Launch support.

* Complete EPS manufacture process set up/debugging in JV plant.

* Support vehicle EPS component SW reflash on request.

Brief Task Description

* Develop necessary EPS subsystem solution/component spec per FCA APAC vehicle need by coordinating EPS supplier.

* Complete necessary EPS subsystem function integration and calibration on time to support FCA APAC vehicle project timing.

* Review with supplier on EPS Subsystem and component development requirements, including System function spec /component technical specification/ timing milestone requirements/ samples delivery requirements/ validation requirements.

* Manage EPS related Subsystem and component development requirement analysis report status /manufacture status, including hardware/software/mechanical development, need periodical meeting with supplier to manage timing, update work plan including software release plan and related open issues.

* Guarantee EPS related Subsystem and component in the correct position/package in teamcenter system, all part numbers/sales code/quantity correct in EBOM/Codep system.

* Guarantee EPS CCD/ODM closed before VP/PS/Job1 PBOM lock down due date.

* Periodical tracking EPS related Subsystem and component DV/PV status and PV must be finished before PS MRD.

* Well prepare EPS related Subsystem and component risk mitigation plan of all critical issues, all EPS critical issues must be resolved before PS build.

* Lead the FCA APAC EPS related Subsystem and component development including, but not limited to the following:

a. Develop complex components elaborating technical solutions according to requirements, planning and realizing modifications.

b. Follow FCA vehicle development and EEDP process to manage the EE component supplier.

c. Management of open issues (discussion and sharing of the solutions for each point involving all the people/documents needed).

d. Manage component level EMC quality issue and resolution. Drive supplier to solve quality issues with engineering tool (8D, JIRA, OPL…).

e. Direct management of necessary EE spec and check of specifications consistency.

f. Owner of Requirement Analysis Report process for EPS.

g. Owner of EPS DVP test activities, manage AQF plan with EMC and Environmental test responsible.

h. Owner of EPS system calibration activities.

i. Owner for EPS cost estimation.

j. Owner for EPS quality issues analysis and resolution.

k. Weekly report to PC/Supervisor about EPS subsystem component development status and support FCA audit and periodical check.

l. Resolve any other issues that is EPS subsystem/ component relevant.

Qualifications

* Education: BS and above degree in Electrical Engineering.

* Experience: 3 years of experience in EPS Electrical hardware and Software design & calibration and validation.

* Professional experience in EPS Function integration and system calibration & validation is required.

* Require rich experience in quality tools such as 8D/5 why and engineering tools like CANoe, FMEA, DVP/R, DOE, oscilloscope etc for failure analysis.

* Familiar with automotive industry development process and quality process (V process, APQP, TS16949 etc.) is required.

* Famous EPS Tier one supplier work experience is preferred.

* Good experience in analogy /digital hardware design is preferred.

* Strong Supplier management skills is preferred, Lead technical review meeting with supplier.

* Familiar with Vehicle E/E architecture and in vehicle network is preferred.

* Excellent leadership and management skill. Must be able to harmonize and coordinate issues across different function disciplines and different sites with timely manner. Take initiative to find out problems and coordinate to figure out problems. Strong independent management capability.
