职位描述

Scope of Responsibility
?Within the regional sales team, the Sales Manager is responsible for the strategy, growth and has to manage commercial business aspects in defined customer accounts. The responsibility may include product groups Transmission Controls (TCU) for passenger cars as well as commercial vehicle and Four Wheel/All Wheel Drive (AWD)
?The main scope is to manage all commercially related business activities in the respective customer account in alignment with the BU T business strategy and to support the product development team (lead by the project manager) in all commercial aspects with the goal to secure the targeted profitability of the respective program

Sales
?Lead and run acquisitions along the agreed processes and by using the agreed tools
?Win business (customers, customer projects) that is in line with the BU T business strategy regarding series products and R&D projects
?Prepare and negotiate quotations, supported by project management, engineering and controlling
?Negotiate customer contracts and in particular contract conditions in close cooperation with e.g. legal services and business controlling
?Manage all special agreements with customers like R&D contracts, NDAs etc. Manage all commercial items regarding projects, piece price, tooling and development costs
?Assure general commercial conditions to secure profitability
?Lead in developing an account business strategy with strong support from Business Development.
Note: BD leads the overall business strategy
?Develop new business opportunities by keeping the customer aware of the BU T products and capabilities
?Secure and expand the market position of the BU T at the customer
?Lead and negotiate customer claims

Customer Interface & Communication
?Be the customer interface for all commercial questions, e.g. piece price, tooling and development costs including contracts
?Develop and maintain a strong business relationship with key customers
?Represent the "customer's voice" within the organization
?Lead continuous improvement of customer satisfaction scorecards

Market Intelligence
?close cooperation with Business Development
?Analyze market structures, customer and competitor activities / targets
?Evaluate market potentials; identify future trends and potential acquisition targets
?Exchange information on general customer trends and information that is applicable for current and new business opportunities
?Support in optimizing the BU T business strategy

Planning & Reporting
?Support the planning process (e.g. Strategy Planning, Sales Planning, Budget Planning, Reimbursements)
?Provide the necessary inputs for the reporting, e.g. Monthly Report
?Secure the tracking of quotation processes in cooperation with the sales account manager through quote /-status lists, target/current assessment, extra revenues and reimbursements
?Prepare and align product presentations in cooperation with project managers
