Role Summary/Purpose:

 

Assist EHS leader to implement and continuously improving EHS programs in Shanghai site to achieve full compliance with all applicable laws & regulations as well as MPM Corporate EHS standards & requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

1.  Support to drive EHS culture throughout organization, mainly about EHS communications like newsletters, EHS alerts and organize EHS activities.

2.  Assist to complete tasks assigned by local government departments.

3.  Compile EHS reports and uploads to Gensuite.

4.  Assist the industrial hygiene and occupational health program management, mainly about IH risk assessment, OH surveillance management, medical records management, etc.

5.  Maintain EHS database in internal EHS tools and share folders.

6.  Support to track employee EHS concerns.

7.  Support to maintain most update applicable Environment, health and safety related laws/regulations.

8.  Other works assigned by the manager.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

1.  6 months full-time internship at least 3 days a week at office.

2.  Major in Occupation safety, Public Health, Environment, Chemical etc. would be preferred.

3.  Proven skills at MS office software.

4.  Good at event planning and making newsletters.

5.  Proven communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).

6.  Fluency in both Chinese and English.

7.  Passion to EHS.

8.  Master student would be preferred.
