PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Business Analyst in the store is inspired by the IKEA’s vision to create a better everyday life for the many people. He/she is driven by the IKEA business idea, culture and values with a focus on business performance analysis and management information providing to support the store towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long term profitability.
They always take a multi-dimensional view, considering customer, commercial, people, financial and operational perspectives

ASSIGNMENT:
Business Follow Ups and Reporting
? I am responsible for in-store business performance follow ups and communication.
? I provide business reporting and related analysis by kinds of periodic reports in sales, margin, costs, productivity and other KPIs for store constant performance improvement.
Business Performance analysis and steering
? I use benchmarking and store clusters to identify potentials, communicate the findings to the store management team and implement proven solutions.
? I secure the financial performance in line with goals and I highlight deviations and potentials, in order that store can take action to achieve goals.
? I work together with the commercial team in analysing benefits, costs and investments to ensure the good return on investments.
Financial Budget & Forecast
? I support the BN & BNOM in co-ordinating the yearly financial budget and communicating the goals to related parties in the store and SO BN.
? I co-ordinate and communicate the bi-monthly financial forecasts throughout the year.
? I contribute to the store scenario planning process.
Others
? To be the super user for the financial system in the store such as CODA, COGNOS, TEC etc.
? To be involved in the cost efficiency activities.
? To ensure that financial and accounting routines are implemented in the store.

Essential
Previous experience in a financial/commercial role with proven strong analytical and numerical skills
A thorough understanding of the profit and loss and the key performance measurements that we use to plan, follow up and steer the business
Ability to engage a receiver by creating a passion for our plans. Ability to inspire others to see possibilities
Ability to use common sense and take objective decisions based on analysis of available information
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English – verbal and written
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – especially excel
