Job Description for Document Controller

 

 

Position Accountabilities:

 

Zeeco is an International Leader in Industrial Combustion Technology, primarily serving the Petroleum, Chemical, and Power Generation Industries Worldwide. We provide flare system, thermal oxidizer system, air heater system, Vapor Recovery Unit and process burners to our customers. This position is accountable for related document management, including customer documentation, internal drawings and documents, sub-vendor’s documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

1.     Customer specifications and files print out and archive with project base.

2.     Project documentation distribute to internal functions per project manger’s guidance.

3.     Design deliverables transmittal to customers/vendors/other parties per projects requirement.

4.     Documentation distribution and transmittals status tracking and timely update.

5.     Develop and maintain proper documentation management system to support business and project needs.

6.     Engineering team related report and record development.

7.     Assist to prepare meetings for team and projects.

8.     As-built documents collect and archive and be in charge of final submittal.

9.     Other assigned tasks.

 

Requirements: 

1.      Educated from college or above.

2.     More than 2 years documentation control or related work experience.

3.      Proficient in applicable software, such as word, excel, Power Point.

4.      Must be capable of working in a team environment.

5.     Willingness to take challenged jobs, could work independently.

6.     Good on English reading and writing, and verbal communication skills mandatory.
