We are looking for a skilled localization project Coordinator to join the

Localization team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver localized

video content of the highest possible quality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate video localization production traffic mainly focusing on China videos

       - Coordinate schedule challenges, query cycles, localized video validations & sign off, bug fix & sign-off and hand over to publishing team - all to ensure that the client's requirements are met

       - Closely collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve questions or conflicts related to localized components

 including screenshots, pictures, on-screen text, layout and more

• Assess and execute ad-hoc localization requests submitted by your geo business owners or stakeholders
• Analyze requirements and supporting reference material; clearly communicate same to localization vendors
• Create and process projects in WorldServer

Required skills:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a localization coordinator and/or localization project manager role
• Video Localization experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with Translation Management Systems is required; Idiom / SDL WorldServer experience is preferred
• An understanding of localization best practices and familiarity with typical“gotchas”; demonstrated experience in effectively mitigating these issues
• High attention to detail, efficient time-management, and strong organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of a variety of file formats as they pertain to localization
• Skill in dealing with concurrent translation projects — all with varying scopes, schedule demands, and complexities
• Excellent communication skills: English fluency (spoken and written) is required; Native level fluency in Chinese (Mandarin/Simplified Chinese)
• The ability and desire to always do the right thing…no matter what
  

• 4-year degree or equivalent
• BA or MA in an area related to Localization or Project Management is preferred
