JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Maintain and control the inventory of raw material to support the production plan and the customer requirements.

2. Regularly interface with the Sales function to forecast, schedule, and control the flow of materials.

3. Maintain necessary database to develop a Master Production Schedule to support customer requirements and efficient manufacturing processes.

4. Schedule future raw material requirements using MRP (Baan) system.

5. Maintain good working relationship with internal and external customer and vendors.

6. Manage the Shipping and Receiving function, including the Import and Export function.

7. Develop cost reduction programs that reduce internal costs and vendor costs.

8. Lead efforts to reduce inventory and improve inventory turnover.

9. Control the Logistic functions for high customer satisfaction and minimum cost.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. This position requires a BS degree in a related business field. 7+ year related experience with 3 years in the manager position.

2. Skills in PC based business software and MRP systems. A complete understanding of MRP and related business systems is essential to this position.

3. Good oral (both English and Mandarin) and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and management.

4. Must have strong leadership skills and be able to manage in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
