职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Participate in the Project teams in researching and understanding the science of each manufacturing processes of new processes and wireless products to ensure their robustness and repeatability in mass production environment
2. Brings processes on line, debugs processes, and meets process or product requirements such as meeting industry benchmark yields, cycle time, cost, etc.
3. Incorporates problem solving and improvement strategies (i.e., 'Black Belt' DMAIC approach, true root cause analysis), provides input on product design, process development, and ensures successful project completion.
4. Provides and promotes statistical / quantitative methods for product design / development, process development and manufacturing support activities.
5. Works with team members in the design of experiments (DOE), the execution of protocols, data analysis, and completion of final reports with data driven conclusions.
6. Coaches and teaches team members in the Six Sigma methodology. Manage Green belt candidates and assist with training and tutoring.
Job Requirement:
1. Minimum B.S. degree in Engineering---preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical disciplines
2. 5 years of related experience required including two plus (2+) years actual, hands-on Black Belt experience in setting up, running, and analyzing DOE's (Design of Experiments) in product development and/or manufacturing areas
3. Formal Black Belt training/certification from a qualified organization and previous background in an fast moving large volume consumer products industry is highly preferred
4. Must be self-motivated, have strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, conflict management, facilitation skills, and capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience, as well as, project management tools.
5. Extensive cross-functional team experience, including technical and non-technical work.
6. Ability to organize and present technical and project management overviews without assistance.
7. Demonstrated success in delivering results on several technical challenges.
