As a Traction Motors Service Engineer, you will be part of the Motion (MO) Motors & Generators (BL) Business Line, based in Shanghai. ABB is the World leader in Motion (MO) Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

- Field service including commissioning with converter for propulsion system as SI, mounting motors to train, failure handling at customer's side.
- Introduce to customer about the basically motor application knowledge and supports on customer maintenance service.
- Periodically visit end users to monitor the conditions of motor operating, support customer on preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Track our motor performance status and support customer for regular and overhaul maintenance.
- Periodically collect the data of motor performance and feedback to Traction motor technical team to calibrate the software and product maintenance for further optimization.
- Deal with customer complaints via CRRP system and warranty service, timely solve customers' issues.
- Timely feedback any needs on traction motors from onsite and share with traction team.
- Understand the needs for the maintenance and repair of end users.
- Coordinate the inspection and repair for the returned motors.

- A Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical or Automation etc.
- Experience in Railway field with related field.
- Proficient in MS-Office.
- Open, logical, thoughtful, pressure handler, customer orientation, frequency travel adaptable, can do spirit.
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
