Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 5
- Direct and closely monitor a commercial team on sourcing of crop protection products (50 products, 45 suppliers and annual purchase of $80 M)
- Provide guidance on supplier technical audit and quality control
- Support work on project development (25 new projects per year)
Manage department of Crop Protection
- Act as a role model on professionalism, hard work and solid work ethics
- Train and develop subordinates
- Plan and organise work
- Coordinate work with other departments in China
- Lead process of continuous improvement
Communicate regularly and effectively with Head Office and subsidiaries
- Ensure smooth work process and promote teamwork

Territory: Entire China

Reporting to: Executive Manager of HCN

Location: Shanghai. Extensive travel in China required

Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor degree or above in chemistry or a agrochemical-related major
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of practical experience in crop protection business in China
- Minimum 5 year of commercial experience in crop protection in China
- Sound know-how of local producers, production processes, raw material supply and domestic market
- Solid experience in international trading (including Incoterms and documentation)
- Work experience in foreign enterprises
