Purpose of Position: 

The primary role of this position is to provide -Software design / testing /manufacturing for R&D engineering activities. 
 
Essential Functions:

 ? Work on projects involving new products and also support work on existing products 

? Conduct preliminary analysis of design objectives to define optimum design criteria and operating characteristics of products.

 ? Design software in accordance with design criteria and performance objectives. 

? Responsible for design, coding, and functional tests of software and hardware/software systems. 

? Perform other related design assignments as required.

 ? Involve in the specification, designing, testing and verification of the inkjet / laser printer systems

 ? Take technical ownership of the software area; work across with various function teams, such as Quality, Service, and Marketing to ensure the success of the project
 
Education, Background and Skill Requirements: 

? Bachelor degree (Master or Ph.D strongly preferred) in Software engineering or related disciplines

 ? Minimum 5 years in a relevant job in design field for industrial type products  

? Minimum 5 years of hands on and extensive experience in C++ developing  

? Rich experience in industry embedded system software design, especially in ARM system structure  

? Experience with object-oriented programming, good knowledge of design patterns 

? Familiar with software version control tools like SVN, and other development tools

 ? Knowledge of Linux is a strong plus 

? Knowledge of WinCE is a plus

 ? Knowledge of QT is a plus 

? Good Electronics Engineering knowledge particularly in embedded system hardware is a strong plus.

 ? CET-6 or above. Demonstrate an ability to express technical matters adequately in English, both orally and in writing
