Main activities / responsibilities

？ Manage accounting routines activities for the Port Terminal based in Sasebo Japan

？ Double check the journal entries prepared by the 3rd party consultant including AP, GL and FA,

especially construction and CIP related to the port terminal project;

？ Ensure accurate & fair accounting records and monthly reports prepared by the 3rd party consultant;

？ Responsible for month-end closing and work with 3rd party consultant, e.g. accrual, vendor payment

check, CIP/FA, payroll;

？ Review the monthly reporting prepared by 3rd party consultant;

？ Review B/S reconciliations prepared by 3rd party consultant;

？ Analyze the B/S and P/L flux/variance;

？ Analyze CAPEX and OPEX flux/variance;

？ Work closely with the 3rd party consultant, HQ finance team, Japan finance team and port management

business team to ensure a smooth procedure in place;

？ Review and monitor inter-company transactions to minimize accounting and statutory reporting risks;

？ Manage internal control & risk management especially in terms of construction project;

？ Coordinate with the internal audit and external audit

？ Manage fixed asset in legal entities Asia wise

？ Manage Asia CAPEX during the preparation period, including but not limited to, recording the cost of

newly acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, calculating

depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets;

？ Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets

within Asia;

？ Collaborate with FP&A team and HQ FA team to improve the FA module based on Carnival accounting

standard and procedure;

？ Work closely with internal and external auditor on fixed asset audit

？ Support ad-hoc projects

Desired Skills & Experience

？ At least 4-5 years working experience in the accounting field, experience in multi-national company or

medium to large scale enterprises preferred, with at least 2 years’ experience in G/L position;

？ Good command of effective cross-function communication;

？ Experience with Oracle system would be a plus;

？ Ability to work independently as well as teamwork;

？ Advanced level in excel skill would be preferred;

？ Strong project management experience and skill;

？ Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting or Finance, good knowledge of China Accounting standards,

understanding IFRS and US-GAAP;

？ Excellent understanding of fixed assets generally accepted accounting principles and practices;

？ Fluent in both oral and written Japanese; Ability of Japanese contract reading is required.
