Subject: Merchandising and Promotion Manager Job Description
Position Purpose
? Develop innovative promotion and merchandising program for ensuring a great consumer experience to induce the sales.
Responsibility
1. Develop promotion program
a) Assess existing promotion activities and potential needs
b) Identify all the communication channels
c) Define the overall approach and detailed programs on a calendar base (targets, message, tools and budget) working in close relationship with operation teams
d) Create a standard set of tools for implementation
e) Launch and oversee the promotion activities
f) Collect and analysis on the promotion result for continuous improvements
2. Develop merchandising program
a) Identify the consumer journey
b) Define consumers' both functional and emotional requirements in different retail stages
c) Create a set of tools for consumer visual experience
d) Ensure the branding compliance for all visual deliverables
e) Manage all onsite visual programs
3. Assist offer development:
a) Assess key values, key messages and business objectives
b) Define the communication strategy and branding approach
c) Develop the communication program and all visual elements
d) Promote and manage the consumer visibility within the offer
e) Update and review the communication outputs
4. Assist operations:
a) Manage the adhoc onsite communication requests
b) Ensure the branding consistency
Past experience
? Minimum professional experience of 3 to 5 years.
? Successful record with an organization delivering complex merchandising and promotion solution offerings preferably within the FMCG or F&B industry.
? Preferred to have some brand management experiences with a strong brand marketing sense
Personal qualities
? Excellent English in reading/writing
? Excellent written and communication skills, good presentation and interpersonal skills
? Ability to use most common desktop publishing software (photoshop, Xpress or equivalent).
? Strong sensitivity to new technologies.
? Creative, being able to think outside of the box.
? Well organized with a strong ability to prioritize.
? A strong team player mindset.
? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment.
