SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a skilled hardware electronic designer. He/She will be leading, from a technical point of view, the definition of the CPU and digital part of wired and wireless handsets working in close relations with experts in the different involved domains, such as EMC, high speed, power, video, audio, analog electronic design, and associated firmware. These developments will be conducted in close relations with other developments teams (hardware, manufacturing, purchasing, Component ..) located in China and outside China.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

-          Terminal CPUs pre-studies in relation with architecture team and other HW competencies

-          Definition of the electrical architecture and write the external specifications

-          Ensure the consistency of the external and internal designs

-          Ensure power supply design

-          Ensure technology watch and competition analysis at IP

-          Ensure specific components and technology watch (IP Chipsets,？-)

-          High speed design, especially for USB, HDMI and DDR3

-          In charge of the support and sustaining of terminals in his area of competence

-          Propose , safety and thermal designs for Enterprise handsets working in close relation with other hardware and software teams

-          Guaranty the technical soundness of the developments, including parts management and qualification

-          Manage the implementation of the design externally

-          Execute needed acceptance tests and certifications

-          Management and monitoring of all technical files of wired and wireless

-          Management and monitoring change and evolution process of the files of wired and wireless

-          Control the application dates in relation with manufacturing and purchasing

-          Schematic input and creating symbols

QUALIFICATIONS:

-          Mandatory

o   Strong experience in general hardware development, digital transmission techniques.

o   Strong experience in IP or digital wired sets

o   EDA tools knowledge, Mentor DxD or equal tool

o   PCB layout knowledge

o   Strong knowledge of , Safety and thermal constraints

o   High speed design experience, USB, HDMI, DDR3…

o   Power supply design

o   Media product design, video and audio.

o   English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking

o   Knowledge of RF, especially for measurement.

-          Nice to have

o   General knowledge in Enterprise market

o   Project management experience

o   Competence in Audio Transmission, Acoustic and Mechanical design

o   Good knowledge in standards and approvals related to Radio

EXPERIENCE:

-          5+ years experience in hardware development, including all steps such as prestudies, development, certification and management, this in the telephony industry. Experience in working with external suppliers.
