JOB DESCRIPTION:

Garrett Motion is looking for enthusiastic application developers with sound programming knowledge of web based enterprise application using .Net platform.

- This person will be responsible for design and development of application using .Net and front end technology and shall perform his job without much supervision.

- This person will involve interacting with business users to understand requirements, strong communication skills with ability to articulate the problem clearly is very essential.

- This person's day to day responsibilities include - coding, unit testing, code review, meetings with team and customers.

- This person needs to have good working background on enterprise application development covering aspects like security and performance.

- This person should be willing to switch technology and open to learn anything new that comes up.

- This person should be strong in development methodologies like Agile Scrum and Test driven development

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Collaborate with team members to ensure high quality software and timely delivery.

- Perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to standard development practices (coding and testing).

- Maintain and enhance applications on an ongoing basis.

- Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals of application and environment.

- Support and analyze issues and new requirements from business team.

- To be proactive in the investigation and implementation of new techniques and tools that could be used to improve existing system.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Proficient in C# and the .NET Framework (3 years+)

Strong OOAD development skills

Experience of Agile development processes and iterative development

Strong SQL background,

• Besides SQL queries, stored procedures and functions knowledge
• SQL Server will be the main Db used, but the ability to manage Postgres, SQLite, etc. is needed

Experience in development of web apps

• C#, Angular framework
• Familiar with most common JS libraries (Angular, VUE, Quasar)
• Webservices (ASP.Net MVC, Web API…)

Strong Analysis capabilities

• Good English written and verbal skills

• Will work in a remote team work environment

• Travel needed for training, deployment

DESIREABLE SKILLS:

• Web development including TypeScript, Vue JS, NodeJS, JavaScript, WebApi, SignalR and IIS.
• Windows development including WinForms and WPF.
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Design Patterns (UML)
• Knowledge of .NET Core and Java
• SQL Server database mirror architecture and Reporting Services
• Microsoft domain management and NLB architecture
• SAP basic knowledge and support experience
• Basic manufacture process knowledge
• PMP certificate is plus
