We are looking for dynamic self-motivated individuals who are capable of meeting the challenges and beating expectations. As QS officer, You are expected to assist the Contracts Manager in the management of all building and civil engineering projects . You'll seek to minimize the cost of a project/purchase and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. This includes ensuring performance specifications/statutory building regulations are met. You'll prepare estimates and costs of the work and when the project is in progress, you'll keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for carrying out quantity surveying work as assigned by the Contracts Manager

 

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

？   Provide budgetary estimates, tender, cost analysis and contract documentation (including review, supervision and coordination of the work of relevant consultants)

？   Cost control and contract management

？   Tender Management and Contract Audit

？   Responsible for whole process cost management and budget estimate, including variations, interim payment and monthly report

？   Prepare monthly cost report

 

Who You’ll Work With

You will work with colleagues in Project department and other business units collaboratively to ensure that right suppliers/contractors are employed to provide best services and quality works for the organization

 

Who You Are

You will be mature, stable and responsible with good communication and organizational skills, able to work independently

 

Your professional experiences and key competencies would include, but not limited to:

 

？   More than 6 years of working experience, proficient in project budget and final accounts

？   Working experience in foreign or JV enterprises is preferred

？   Computer - familiar with Office Software

？   English Competence CET-4, good in written and Verbal communication skill

？   Customer oriented.  Be able to understand and deliver on different customer segments and key stakeholder expectations; to anticipate future customer trends and needs and orientates the business to meet these

？   Be able to negotiate effectively – Negotiates outcomes that are good for the business and the other party, whether they are a colleague, business partner or a client. Ensures all parties leave satisfied

？   Be willing to develop solutions to the stakeholders.  Is capable of dealing with obstacles and problems in a timely manner, and working with others to generate creative and innovative solutions to deal with issues and problems that hinder performance
