COMPANY OVERVIEW:

POWERBOX (Bai Jia Sheng (Shanghai) Trading Limited)is a trading house in Shanghai wholly invested by a British company who as a professional distributor in UK more than ten years, is specialized in sourcing its own brands hand & power tools mostly from China to globally.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, Supply Demand Planner - this is a new position. As the bridge between customer's forecasters and internal purchase order administration and follow up team, this person will execute supply plans to meet customer's requirements. This person will act as focal point in development, communication, and execution of daily product supply and contingency plans, and will track and drive to achieve weekly targets.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Liaise with customer's forecaster, understand their demand, and verify the accuracy of their rolling forecasts.
2) Maintain lead time, MOQ in planning system.
3) Develop and maintain daily procurement plans in planning system, to meet Powerbox's weekly supply requirements.
4) Lead regular meetings to communicate with customers for input and feedback. Adapt plans based on changing customer requirements.
5) Coordinate with Powerbox supply chain team to prioritize critical orders, ensure orders ship cleanly as scheduled, and drive improved order cycle time.
6) Develop processes to accomplish above responsibilities. Set up weekly report to monitor working performance, and keep on making improvement.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) The successful candidate will have 3 - 5 years Operations experience.
2) Prior experience in retail products planning, inventory management, or manufacturing planning is preferred.
3) The candidate must combine a working knowledge of supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy.
4) The candidate must be a strong team player and communicator.
5) Candidate should be comfortable presenting to senior management.
6) Additional requirements include the ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1) BA/BS Required.
2) Be fluent in oral and written English.
3) Advanced in EXCEL skills.
