Responsibilities:

As part of the SOC design team, the CAD engineer will mainly focus on following areas, but not limited to:

- EDA tool evaluation, installation, and trouble-shooting, license management;

- Continuous improvement of the Design Flow and Methodology (Analysis, Strategy Definition and Implementation)

- Script support and development;

- Develop in-house tools and flows.

 

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

- Bachelor/Master degree in EE, CS or equivalent experience;

- 3+ years of hand-on experience in EDA/CAD related field

 

Skills and Knowledge:

-  Strong Knowledge of IC company’s IT environment;

-  Be familiar with Unix/Linux system.

-  Strong customer support sense;

-  Strong analytical problem solving, team work and communication skills;

-  Experienced with ASIC design flow is a plus;

-  Hand on experience on C++/Java, Perl, Python, TCL, shell, Makefile

-  Knowledge of software engineering is a plus;
