Description:Micron Technology’s mNAND Shanghai team is developing UFS which are used as storage in various field including flagship mobile phone and automotive car. We are providing the world-beating solutions which will develop high quality engineering product, utilizing the latest tools, techniques, and in a tightly-knit team based environment. It is a priority for us to provide a rich and nurturing environment where everybody in the team can contribute and grow their skills and knowledge!ResponsibilitiesAs Design Engineer in the tool group, you will with us to design and validate the on-chip controller. In this highly visible and challenging role, you will take part to develop architecture, define product, doing system integration, Validate full-chip and block-level solution. You will also design RTL and implement controller hardware, synthesis, full timing closure as well as develop firmware code for internal controller operations. You will be working very closely with Customer both domestic and overseas on different projects.You will also work as Customer interface, in order to evaluate the issues of our testers. You will first replicate the issue, then repeat the problem in RTL simulation environment, finally design solution and implement the fix. Requirements:
Strong knowledge in large scale design projects.
Proficient in UFS Jedec specification
Good expertise in Python language
ARM Cores + AMBA bus fabric standards (APB, AHB, AXI).
Solid knowledge and experience in Verilog language.
System Verilog and UVM techniques
Cadence Incisive Simulator, Unix and a scripting language (Perl, TCL or shell programming).
Proficient in Xilinx Vivado tools + Minimum 1 years of experience debugging and bringing up the FPGA design/features and other hardware in the lab is desirable.
Experience with debug technic by using ILA with Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs is desirable.
Knowledge and/or experience in synthesis and static timing analysis is desirable.
Firmware development experience (especially for the FPGA’s processor) is desirable
Additional requirements:
Effective English oral and written communication skills.
Analytical, ambitious, result-driven and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to balance short-notice requests and regular tasks
Able to work parallel with multiple tasks
Continuous study and perform constantly
Strong problem-solving skills.
Available to work remotely with Continents that have different time zone
Education
MS degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years’ work experience in FPGA design and verification
