JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Name / Nombre del Puesto: Metal Fabrication Buyer for Nacelle

General description:

Manage Nacelle Metal Fabrication Sourcing relevant activities in China. Achieve the best contractual conditions and also ensure internal customer satisfaction. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of sourcing concepts and principles. Strong knowledge of sourcing concepts in order to help driving supplier’s performance.

Tasks :

- Guarantee and facilitate the compliance with Nordex Group requirement for suppliers in China of assigned commodities.

- Work closely with regional Manager and Global sourcing manager / Buyer in Nordex Group to drive China Sourcing Strategy.

- Implement commodity strategies, achieve cost reduction targets, identify and manage supply risk, and manage the outcome and relationships with strategic suppliers.

- Support regional manager and Global sourcing manager / buyer and align with strategy, to execute RFQ, negotiate price, and supply agreement, implement the agreement, work on the capacity and the cost reduction, and CIP during daily work and in each daily task.

- Responsible for supplying market investigation, supplier searching, identifying, developing, homologation, monitoring supplier capabilities and processes of the assigned commodities.

- Proactively involving into supplier development, supplier negotiations and contract implementation to meet overall cost reduction and productivity objectives, and supporting on-time-delivery of the assigned commodities.

- Work effectively and proactively with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Regional Manager on problem solving, cost reduction opportunities, and CIP.

- Work in SAP / JDE system where necessary.

- Other tasks assigned by regional manager

REQUIRED PROFILE (not mandatory for Division Europe)

Qualification/Training :

- University Degree or above

- Mechanical Background preferred

Complementary Training :

Profile :

- Office: Word, Excel, Project

- SAP knowledge desired.

- Market and technology knowledge for relevant commodities is needed

- Sourcing experience on Metallic products manufacturing, commodity management, negotiation skills, supplier expediting, capacity planning and tracking.

- Proven negotiations, contract development and business law knowledge.

Languages/Level : Fluent English.

Experience : Minimum 2 years working experience in sourcing or supply chain related to metallic products.

In September 2008 the AW-3000 was introduced in Europe (PowerExpo, Zaragoza).

Wind turbine assembly plants

ACCIONA Windpower has five wind turbine manufacturing facilities, three in Spain, one in the USA and one in Brazil. Their total annual production capacity is 4,000 MW. ACCIONA Windpower also has an assembly plant for hubs and other components in Toledo (Spain) and has opened a blade production plant in Navarre (Spain) in 2009.


Turbines in wind parks in twelve countries
By the end of 2012 ACCIONA Windpower had installed wind turbines in wind farm in different countries as: Spain, the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Australia, China, South Korea, Italy, Greece, France, Poland, Brazil, the UK.

A good part of these projects have been (or will be) carried out by other companies with which ACCIONA Windpower has signed contracts for the supply of turbines. This modality will increase over the next few years.
