Position Title: Senior System Consultant

Position Reports To: Manager, Messaging Operations

Job Summary:

Infor Nexus has a very demanding Customer base and highly competitive products in the domain of Supply Chain. The Customer Services Organization (CSO) in Infor Nexus is a team that is highly customer focused and is driven by strong business processes around the globe. EDI data is essential and what drives the Supply Chain Business nowadays. We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Production Support Messaging Operations group, which is part of CSO, who can provide technical support and work with other teams to provide superior customer support. As a Senior System Consultant, you will monitor live EDI data feeds in Production, troubleshoot and provide resolutions to failures, including follow-up actions and recommendations related to customer issues. You will also work with other Infor Nexus technical teams to analyze issues, identify resolutions, bugs or required development work.

Job Responsibilities:

? Master and manage client specific technical workflows.

? Monitor system interfaces and messages, trouble shoot messaging (EDI/EDIFACT/XML) and Infor Nexus system application problems and recommend resolutions. Communicate and escalate traffic issues as and when appropriate.

? Document supporting procedures and solutions for common problems.

? Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

? Identify system bugs, recreate problems and document for development fixes.

? Test development fixes and support release rollouts.

? Document and develop testing procedures and methodologies.

? Collaborate closely with other internal departments, both technical and non-technical teams globally, to drive for superior customer support.

Experience, Skills and Job Competencies:

? 5+ years of experience in technical support, application testing, quality assurance, production support or technical customer services is necessary.

? Data center operations and/or data integration implementation experience is a plus.

? Experience in supply chain industry is a plus.

? Bachelor degree or above in Information Technology.

? Experience with internet protocols, communications/transmission protocols (AS2, FTP and SFTP) is desirable.

? Knowledge of EDI, EDIFACT and XML transaction processing and data mapping is necessary.

? Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.

? Experience with data mapping and translation software - WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) OR prior versions of WTX (Mercator 6.x), Type Tree Designer, IFD (Integration Flow Designer), WTX Launcher, and/or knowledge on WMB (WebSphere Message Broker) and IB (Integration Bus) is a plus.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Strong communication skills and a team player.

? Able to master business spoken and written English. Fluency in other Asian languages is an added advantage.

? Willing to work in night hours occasionally.
