Program Assistant (Part-Time) – Shorelight Live

Job Overview

The Program Assistant supports Shorelight Live programs, which offer hybrid higher education programs that combine the traditional, immersive U.S. university experience with technology-enabled, in-country, live lecture learning. The position will facilitate live classes through the operation of interactive classroom technology, coordination across remote program management teams and other relevant student services.

Responsibilities

? Audit live lecture sessions and facilitate classroom activities as instructed by academic team

? Coordinate with local operations team to provide technical support during before, during, and after live lectures

? Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with the technical team

? Prepare classroom materials as instructed by academic team

? Provide student services support, including but not limited to language support during Live lectures, classroom engagement, and student success management and tracking

? Manage student success by actively monitoring student performance providing feedback to program teams

? Participate in training as necessary

Qualifications

? Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and professional proficiency in English required (preferably IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 90+)

? Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of full-time work experience; experience in the education industry, technical field, or service field preferred

? Strong customer service focus with a commitment to student satisfaction and success

? Energetic and motivated professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills

? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

? Ability to work late hours (6pm-11pm) Monday to Thursday every week, for a total of about 20 hours per week

? Eligibility to work in China without sponsorship
