MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Ensure to Commodity Strategy implementation

·         Drive benchmark activities within commodity (RFQ)

·         Identify and manage introduction of “New to Develop” suppliers 

·         Award business to supplier after Sourcing Committee decision

·         Lead negotiations with assigned suppliers

·         Monitor and improve contractual situation

·         Identify cost reduction opportunities at assigned suppliers (supplier’s propositions management) 

·         Drive the productivity Pipeline with the input of the suppliers and the CRP/XCDP Buyers

·         Support XCDP/CRP buyers for commodity expertise

·         Ensure problem solving in accordance with the escalation procedure

·         Support Commodity Quality Engineer and Commodity Capacity Planner when problem solving cannot be handled at their stage

·         Coordinate suppliers’ phase out process and strategic transfers

·         Manage supplier tools replacement

·         Negotiate and recharge COPQ with assigned suppliers

·         Review action plan with supplier to achieve QCD Target 

·         Manage purchasing data in SAP (IR, SA, SL, )  and (partially) SRM

·         Risk assessment of Commodity supply base  

·         Comply with WABCO and Sourcing & Purchasing rules and policies

·         Improve processes in collaboration with S&P Business Improvement Team

EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing  (not procurement) sourcing

·         Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset

·         Experience in a Quality, Cost, Delivery driven environment

PROFILE:

• Degree in Business or Engineering
• Fluent in English
• Automotive experience in matrix environment is an asset

• Six Sigma certification is an asset
