Task description:

1. Meeting vehicle fuel economy targets for the region
2. Conducting region specific charge sustaining and charge depleting tests (region specific cycle tests)
3. Meeting region specific vehicle charging targets
4. Support development trips (i.e. hot, cold, altitude test trips)
5. Perform other calibration tasks for electrified powertrain as needed

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Mechanical/Electrical/Control/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of total industrial experience, 3 years in automotive, and 2 years in electrified powertrain

- Skills & Competence:

• Calibration and application on engine, transmission, or powertrain of electrified vehicles especially torque path Experience with calibration tools ( INCA, Matlab Simulink, CANalyzer, CANoe)
• Experience with calibration tools (INCA, Metlab Simulink, Canalyzer, Canoe)
• Knowledge of powertrain diagnostics (OBD II)
• knowledge/understanding of basic physics and mechanics
• English proficiency and strong communication skills
