Role and Responsibilities
A Digital Operations Consulting Manager enables clients to future proof their operations and help them become leaders in customer experience and cost. S/he has an established “platform” that is known in the internal and external marketplace, as well as builds and maintains trusted advisor relationships with our internal team and external clients.
Key outcomes for the role are:
? Build a team underneath him/her that drives profitable revenue of $2-$3m
? Deliver high quality results for our clients that result in promoters in our NPS survey for their engagements
? Participate and held drive the development of the practice with innovation, IP development and representing Consulting in the broader business community
Primary Responsibilities:
? Client:
o Work across the organization to partner with the account teams, other consulting practices and other areas of company to deliver value for these target clients
o Develop solutions, propose those solutions to our clients, close the business and delivery with high quality
o Participate in establishing strategic direction across engagements/accounts
? Practice development:
o Manage a segment of the practice (based upon experience this can vary from managing 1-2 platinum accounts, to managing a vertical segment such as banking or manufacturing). This includes Revenue, utilization and profitability
o Participate in ensuring the best talent, tools, and methodologies from across the firm are actively engaged and utilized
o Lead teams to actively contribute to mindshare—articles, thought pieces, etc.; helps Senior Managers and below to develop their eminence
o Participate in driving creation of new offerings related to her/his platform and develops repeatable assets for future use
o Help recruit, develop, and retain other consulting professionals – both new hires and existing Cognizant business consultants - to support the firm’s ambitious growth targets for the Practice.
Qualifications
? The successful candidate will possess:
o Minimum 12 years of combined industry and management consulting experience, and a proven track record of success in consulting, advising leading companies on a diverse set of operational issues
o Lean, Six Sigma certified and at least 5 years’ practical experience in the deployment of these methods
o Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
o Strategy & process consulting; experience with large, complex strategy & transformation programs that deliver demonstrative business value, data driven insight, improved operational efficiencies, and new forms of user experiences and engagement.
o Experience in developing, pursuing, selling and delivering digital automation solutions within operations for clients. Automation solutions should include RPA, AI and other technologies for rapid deployment
o Track record of being part of a broader team contributing to various aspects of practice development
o A positive, results oriented style, evidenced by listening, motivating, delegating, influencing, and monitoring the work being done to develop the next generations of leaders
o An engaging/open interpersonal style
o Ability to travel as required by the nature of the role and responsibilities
o MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred; Bachelor degree required
