 1-Manage the supplier panel for his/her commodity worldwide:

- Manage negotiations with suppliers (contract/price, etc.), and draw up framework agreements.

- Create and monitor "Purchasing Actions Trackers".

- Approve supplier assignment during the Sourcing Committee (new projects/ resourcing) .

- Allow for "quick saving" during supplier assignment.

- Manage and ensure productivity savings for his/her commodity.

- Communicate targets, lever effects and work methods to local Purchasing teams to obtain the required productivity levels.

- Optimise cash flow by implementing payment terms that are most beneficial for the Group, and optimise the implementation of consignment stock, batch size reduction and standardisation.

- Work to reduce the supplier panel.

- Present the suppliers for his/her commodity at least once a year.

2 - Manage projects for his/her commodities

- Conduct RFPs 

- Participate in boosting productivity working alongside site Buyers and Sales Executives 

- Ensure that sites take his/her recommendations into account 

- Assist site and project Buyers with problems associated with his/her commodity 

- Take and/or propose actions required to achieve the objectives for his/her commodity

3.Define a matrix strategy based on the MediumTerm Plan and the strategic plan applied to reach productivity targets set in the budget

4 - Monitor and report on the Quality/Cost/Deadline/Innovation performance of suppliers for which he/she is responsible, in liaison with supplier quality personnel.

5 - Market Purchasing by looking for new suppliers, from selection to qualification

- Contribute to innovation and research (example: new materials, recycled materials, etc.) 

- Benchmark his/her panel suppliers.

6 - Monitor and report on fluctuations in the quoted market prices of raw materials, products or services purchased (indicators or market prices) and draw up 3-month price change forecasts for his/her commodity.

7 - Manage his/her activity

- Based on the objectives of his/her profession, permanently manage employees associated with his/her activity 

- Monitor the performance indicators for his/her activity, implement corrective actions as required, and pass these on to activity personnel 

- Ensure that information is communicated to all team members and encourage team work 

- Report on his/her activity.

8 - We would prefer to get:

- Engineer background or Business School with technical background.

- Purchasing Experience or Analytical mindset

- Result driven / GEMBA analysis

- Automotive or Mass production Experience

- Fluent English

- Chinese or International experience would be a plus

- Chinese speaker would be a plus
