Position Description:

    

1. Work with 3rd party vendors and in-house IT team and business/technical analysts, to deliver global solutions to support key objectives of R&D departments.
2. Act as Project Manager or Scrum Master depending on methodology or approach chosen for a particular project.
3. Track and manage project budget, ensuring accurate reporting of financials.
4. Plan, measure, and track key performance indicators of the project.
5. Facilitate project meetings and communications.
6. Identify and manage risks and issues and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies as appropriate.
7. Maintain project collaboration area and ensure completeness of documentation and appropriate access for required stakeholders.
8. Regularly report project status to stakeholders, program management, and other IT leadership. Prepare periodic status reports for project team, steering committees as defined through project governance.
9. Identify resource needs and gaps in order to execute the project and operationalize the system into a support state.
10. Oversee all QA and system validation activities to ensure compliance as required.
11. Assist in executing a communication and change management strategy in support of project execution and rollout.

    

Required Skills:

    

1. At least 7 years of prior experience working in a project management capacity, global deployment experience preferred.
2. Experience in Pharmaceutical Research & Development industry preferred.
3. Experience with formal Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
4. Experience working with 3rd party vendors.
5. Strong proficiency in MS Project and other MS tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
6. Experience using JIRA or other common Agile tools.
7. Scrum related Certification a plus.
8. Good oral and written communication skills in English.
9. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences.
10. PMP Certification a plus but not required.
