About the job

Platforms play an important role in the Chinese consumer journey. To become more accessible and reach more of the many people in China, we are exploring new channels and ways to be available where people shop. This initiative is one step to further leap frog the digital experience for IKEA present and future customers.

You have: 

? Fluent in English both written and spoken

? Excellent business knowledge and mindset

? Fact-based business leadership

? Deep knowledge of China Ecommerce industry and market specific conditions as well as macro-economic trends 

? Solid knowledge of IKEA Purchase Development Process (PDP) and of Supplier Development Process (SDP) 

? Strong negotiations skills and vendor management skills

? Change management skills

? Excellent in remote communication tools and skills

You will:

? Establish trusting relationships that are maintained over time and align plans with 3rd party platform partners to drive performance and results

? Prioritize and align sourcing activities and business goals for 3rd party platform together with stakeholders 

? Develop, articulate and communicate 3rd party platform business strategies with high level of business understanding and strategic thinking 

? Set the goals and action plans to support 3rd party platform priorities in own unit and achieves results in line with the IKEA vision and values

? Lead business with a holistic view and translate long-term priorities into clearly defined action plans, always with the total IKEA in mind

? Build trustful relationships, in order to create preconditions for building long-term business partnerships

? Act as a “spider in the web” co-ordinating procurement activities within the group
