Job Purpose Statement

To assist China Legal Counsel in providing comprehensive legal support to the operations of Parkway PRC entities and keeping legal department well organized and functional.

Key Accountabilities

1.     Working closely with various departments of Parkway PRC entities to provide solid daily legal support by:

1)   drafting, reviewing, and assisting negotiations of a wide variety of contracts, agreements and other legal documents;

2)   doing legal research, consulting with relevant authorities and providing opinions and advice on the legal issues arising from the operations of the Parkway PRC entities based on a good understanding of commercial practices and needs;

3)   developing and continuously improving templates for contracts and other legal documents;

4)   conducting necessary legal trainings to business team.

2.     Assisting China Legal Counsel managing various disputes and liaising with external counsels and other relevant parties.

3.     Providing legal support for special projects;

4.     Maintaining good filing of contracts and other legal documents and doing necessary administration work of legal department;

5.     Other tasks as assigned by China Legal Counsel.

Qualifications & Experience

1)     Bachelor of Law degree or above, PRC bar qualification, graduate from renowned law school;

2)     At least three (3) years of working experience in law firm or multi-national company;

3)     Good command of both written and oral English, be able to work in English;

4)     Self-driven, detail oriented, good logical thinking ability and be able to work independently;

5)     Good communication skills and a good team player.
