Position Overview

The public relations function is responsible for handling all aspects of planned the content campaigns, traditional press relations and activities, new media operations in line with Third Bridge regional and overall strategies, from planning publicity strategies and campaigns, writing and producing presentations and press releases, content driven socialization operation to dealing with enquiries from the investing institutions, the press and related organizations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Work on proactive PR strategy for Third Bridge, often in conjunction with global and regional marketing teams.
-Establish strong relationship with core media via:- Off-the-record meetings
- Inviting media to offline events
- Well-organized media briefings on selected industries
- Attract media gatherings
-Through the regular press coverage to release valued content including our insights and commentaries on market hot topics to build up a thought leadership
-Create self-owned accounts on key portals. Enhance Third Bridge’s social media outlets, update Wechat account’s operations, establish our online social group through content marketing offline event, get directly MQLs pool.
-Pitch interviews with selected top-tier media outlets to develop thought leadership credentials. Pitch selected media, collect interview questions, brief spokespeople, provide on-site support and follow-up on reports.
-Identify and evaluate KOLs who has influence among healthcare/technology/education entrepreneurs, advertorial placement or content seeding to deepen penetration of Third Bridge’s target audience.
-Work with the team to identify key events relevant to its branding and marketing objectives. Recommend media partner to host on- the-ground forums to leverage media’s resources and share their audience base to achieve business needs.

Skills

-Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to write compelling copy are a must, primarily in domestic style (Asia)
-Awareness of the PR significance of social media
-Understand of financial editing and journalism
-Interpersonal skills are vital, MNC mindset preferred
-Speaking and presentation skills in both Chinese and English
-Media & Financial industry resources is a plus

Qualifications

-3-5 years’ experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency.
-A track record of developing and delivering communication strategies is desirable, as is experience of working closely with journalism and responding to media requests in the finance & investment funds.
