职位描述

Position Title: Sales Manager (An Australian logistics packaging company)
Function/Department: Sales FMCG Dept
Position Title: Sales Manager
Reports to: Business Development Manager
Location: Shanghai

Position Purpose:
Responsible for generating business from FMCG companies for the CHEP pallet rental program in China. Develop and establish relationships with merchandising, distribution and warehousing at each account so that the implementation and continuing execution of our Rental programs are recognized as an integral, cost saving part of our customers operation.

Major/Key Accountabilities:
a) Gains detailed understanding of the company, its markets, customers, competitors, opportunities and threats.
b) Establishes relationships with key customers, to maximize growth opportunities in new and existing markets and negotiates profitable contracts.
c) Understands the customer's business, develops strategies and plans to implement and deliver new profitable products into the marketplace.
d) Develops customer specific sales strategies and sets marketing objectives.
e) Manages relationship with other internal sectors and business partners.
f) Responsible for prospecting and closing business at all revenue levels (small, medium and large). Must have a drive for success attitude.
g) Develop agendas, proposals, presentations for customer business proposals and reviews.
h) Drive and oversee cost studies; utilize Supply Chain analysis resources.
i) Meet/exceed all agreed upon volume, revenue and other sales budgets.
j) Acts as "bridge" between Manufacturers and Retailers in order to generate advocacy for the CHEP program.

Qualifications:
Education: University degree in Business or related field.

Experience:
a) Experience: 5 years experience in Sales, preferably in a logistics, packaging or consumer goods environment.
b) Demonstrated ability to open and build new markets in China through personal efforts and working within a team
c) Demonstrated ability to work effective for both Chinese and Global American/UK/Australian business operating in China
d) Experience in a related business e.g. FMCG and or logistics based businesses
e) Sales and negotiation at senior business level
f) Detailed understanding of Sales practices in the China market
g) Experience in using and administering activity-based sales processes
h) Experience in direct sales, telemarketing and face-to-face selling
i) Adept at partnering in multiple levels of the customer organisation.
j) Flexible, organized and highly self-motivated
k) Detailed understanding of Financial measures and KPIs
l) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English at a minimum
m) Strong organisation, problem solving and time management skills
n) Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office or comparable programs
