职责描述：

1) Coordinates technical information about Wire Wound Components (WWCs) and conducting technical discussions between Global Component Engineering specialists and Electrical Engineers of his/her region, for instance about decisions concerning the applicability, safety and the release status of WWCs. If required, initiates the necessary (component) tests: by the supplier, or within his/her Category or by Global Component Engineering (as part of the Component Lifecycle process).

2) Carries the know-how of WWCs in his/her region and thus represents the role of Component engineering as a regular member in Component Teams (CT project reviews and CT maintenance)

3) Represents the Engineering Role of his/her region in global working teams: initializes on behalf of global working team the scouting for new suppliers, gather supplier/technology information, perform supplier/technology audits, supports settlement of the suppliers ECN’s and the local action plan(as part of the Supplier Management process by the Global Component Working Teams). 

4) Owns and coordinates technological release of WWCs on behalf of his/her region, from acquiring a new component to documenting a qualification report of the component issued by the Global Component specialist, thus ensuring their release status in Component database (as part of the Component Data Management process).

5) Is responsible that product development engineers are timely made aware of any usage of safety components and that these components are used fully in line with the BG guidelines.

6) In view of design for quality, is responsible for the up-to-date content and for the proper usage of the component statistics database (which is generated and maintained by the Incoming Quality Inspection in his/her region). 

7) Deals directly with supplier in case of WWCs quality issues, e.g. is supporting the customer complaint process.

8) Is responsible to stay up-to-date regarding the technical knowhow of WWCs and regarding the knowledge about their suppliers and is responsible for the in-depth contacts with his/her counterparts of the other regions in BG and with the Global Component Specialist 

9) Is supporting the Component Application release by Development (supports VI-mapping, de-rating, reliability predictions and risk analysis) and the Component Process release by Process Engineering.

10) Reports on the status and plans of all relevant component indicators in the Component Teams and Project Teams.

- Broad Problem solving skills and experiences

- Experienced Know-how in design and manufacturing of Wire Wound Components

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Good at logic thinking

- Good written and oral English

- Knowledge about APQP, PPAP, DFSS etc.
