Pacific Machinery is a fast growing company representing a number of product brands, principally involved in mechanical transmission products. To support our future business growth, we are currently in search of an experienced engineer, with expertise in machining aluminum and ferrous castings, as well as steel forgings.

Principal duties include: 主要职责包括：

· Attaining mastery over all milling operations, and milling machines; you will be the in-house expert for all processes requiring milling, drilling or like applications

· Solving operating problems

· Process optimization: cycle time, machine utilization, tooling, fixtures etc.

You will work on several projects simultaneously. About one-half of the time is spent at a desk doing CNC programming, literature searches, conducting data analysis with computer spreadsheets. The rest of the time is spent on the shop floor, auditing and improving our processes.

Typical project assignments include:

* Implementing new tooling to reduce cycle time

A Bachelor of Science degree is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering. However, well qualified individuals in other closely related fields will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of hands on experience, specific expertise in milling operations and equipment, is required.

Two key skills are required for success at Pac Mac: the ability to solve problems, and to form effective relationships with others. Applying the fundamentals learned in the pursuit of an engineering degree in a creative and energetic fashion results in timely solutions to problems. Through interacting with a wide range of people (supervisors, technicians, fellow engineers, operating personnel, suppliers, etc.), solutions are researched and implemented. Effective communication in English and Chinese, oral and written, is required during all phases of project work; ideas must be clearly communicated to people at all levels in the Company to bring projects to fruition.

Magelec Propulsion is a complete electric powertrain manufacturer, producing permanent magnet axial flux motor generator units, IGBT and SiC MOFSET based motor control units and geared transmissions. We create the most power dense, light weight axial flux powertrain solutions in the world. Developed for motorsport or daily commercial duty, out compact, light weight designs reduce powertrain mass, improving vehicle performance, increasing payload and range.

OPT’s strong presence in existing markets gives us the ability to leverage these relationships with itsaxial flux motors and inverters increasing the platform value 2-3x over gearboxes alone.
